LEUCARUM

LEUCARUM a town in Britain, mentioned in the Itinerary as being 15 miles from Isca Dumnuniorum, and 15 from Nidum. The difficulties involved in this list (viz. that of the 12th Itinerary) are noticed under MURIDUNUM. The Monumenta Britannica suggests both Glastonbury in Somersetshire, and L'wghor in Glamorganshire.
