LOCORITUM

LOCORITUM (Λοκόριτον), a town on the river Main in Germany, and probably the same as the [p. 2.199]modern Lohr. (Ptol. 2.11.29.) Its name seems to be of Celtic origin. (Comp, Steiner, Das Maingebiet, p. 125.)
