LUPODU´NUM

LUPODU´NUM a place on the river Nicer (Neckar) in Southern Germany. (Auson. Mosel. 423; Symmachus, p. 16, ed. Niebuhr.) It is probably the same place as the modern Ladenbuwg on the Neckar, though some identify it with the fort which the emperor Valentinian built on the banks of the Neckar. (Amm. Marc. 28.2.)
