MANA´PII

Eth. MANA´PII (Eth. Μανάπιοι), a people of Ireland on the east coast, possessing a town called MANAPIA (Μαναπία), near the mouth of the Modonus, the present Dublin. (Ptol. 2.2. §§ 8, 9.) The name is the same as one of the Celtic tribes of Gaul. [MENAPII
