Eth. MANIMI a tribe of the Lygii, in the north east of Germany (Tac. Germ. 43). They occupied the country south of the Burgundiones, and appear to be the same as the Omanni (Ὀμαννοί) of Ptolemy (2.11.18; Zeuss, Die Deutschen, p. 124). [L.S]
