OAEONES

OAEONES (Mela, 3.6.8; Solin. 19.6) or OONAE (Plin. Nat. 4.13. s. 27), islands in the Baltic off the coast of Sarmatia, the inhabitants of which were said to live on the eggs of birds and wild oats.
