OCILIS

OCILIS (Ὄκιλις, Appian, B. Hisp. 100.47, sqq.), a town of the Celtiberi, which served the Romans as a magazine in the time of the Celtiberian war. It was probably in the SE. part of Celtiberia, and Reichard identifies it with Ocana.
