PAUSULAE

PAUSULAE (Eth. Pausulanus), a town of Picenum, mentioned only by Pliny (3.13. s. 18). It is placed by Holstenius at Monte dell' Olmo, about 5 miles S. of Macerata, on the right bank of the river Chienti, the ancient Flusor. (Holsten. Not. ad Cluver. p. 137.)
