PERCO´TES

PERCO´TES (Περκώτης), a small river of Mysia, flowing from Mount Ida into the Hellespont. (Hom. Il. 2.835.) It is easily identified as the stream flowing in the valley of the modern town of Bergaz. [Comp. PERCOTE]
