PHARMACU´SA
PHARMACU´SA (
Φαρμακοῦσσα), a small island before the entrance of the bay of Iassus, not far from Cape Poseidion; its distance from Miletus is stated at 120 stadia.
In this island Attalus was killed, and near it Julius Caesar was once captured by pirates. (
