RIGODU´NUM (Ῥιγόδουνον, Ptol. 2.3.16), a town of the Brigantes in the N. of Britannia Romana. Camden (p. 974) conjectures it might have [p. 2.718]been Ribble-chester or Rixton; others identify it with Richmond. [T.H.D]
