RUSUCU´RRIUM

RUSUCU´RRIUM, RUSSUCU´RRIUM (Plin. Nat. 5.1; It. Ant.; Ῥουσσοκκόραι, Ptol. 4.2.8), a town of Mauretania, which Claudius made a municipium (Plin. l.c.), but which was afterwards a colonia (Itin. Ant.). Barth (Wanderungen, p. 60) has identified it with the landing-place Dellys in Algeria, where there is good anchorage.
