SARMA´LIUS (It. Ant. p. 203) or SARMA´LIA (Σαρμαλία,Ptol. 5.4.8), a town in Galatia, on the road from Ancyra to Tavia or Tavium, is supposed by some to be the modern Karadjeleh. [L.S]
