SCOLUS

SCOLUS (Σῶκλος, Thuc. 5.18; Strab. ix. p.408), a town of Chalcidice near Olynthus, mentioned together with Spartolus, in the treaty between Athens and Sparta in the tenth year of the Peloponnesian War.
