SUESSETA´NI

Eth. SUESSETA´NI a people of Hispania Tarraconensis, mentioned only by Livy (25.34, 28.24, 34.20, 39.42) and especially in connection with the Sedetani (or Edetani). Marca (Hisp. 2.9. 4) takes them for a branch of the Cossetani; and Ukert (ii. pt. i. p. 318) seeks them near the Celtiberi, Lacetani, and Ilergetes.
