TIGAVA CASTRA (It. Ant. p. 38; Tigavae, Plin. Nat. 5.2. s. 1; Τιγαῦα, Ptol. 4.2.26), a fortress in Mauretania Caesariensis, between Oppidum Novum and Malliana, variously identified with El-Herba, Cantara, Abd-el-Kader.
