TIGRA

TIGRA (called Τίγα by Procopius, de Aed. 4.7), a fortress in Moesia Inferior, near the Danube, and between Sexantaprista and Appiaria (Itin. Ant. p. 222). In the Not. Imp. it is called Tegra. Variously identified with Marotin and a place near Olughissar.
