TROPAEA DRUSI

Eth. TROPAEA DRUSI (Τρόπαια Δρούσου), a trophy erected on a hill on the banks of the Elbe by Drusus, to mark the point to which he had advanced in the north of Germany. (D. C. 55.1; Flor. 4.12; Ptol. 2.11.28, who speaks of it as if it were a town.)
