VACUA

VACUA (Οὐακούα, Strab. iii. p.153; Οὔακος, Ptol. 2.5.4), a river in Lusitania, which entered the Atlantic ocean between the Durius and Munda, in the neighbourhood of Talabrica. Pliny (4.21. s. 35) calls it Vacca. The present Vouga.
