Κάστωρ : Castor.—(1) son of Zeus and Leda, brother of Polydeuces and Helen, famed for horsemanship (ἱππόδαμος), as participant in the hunt of the Calydonian boar, and in the Argonautic expedition, Il. 3.237, Od. 11.299 ff.— (2) son of Hylacus, Od. 14.204.
