Λῆμνος : Lemnos, the island west of the Troad, with probably in Homer's time a city of the same name, Il. 14.230, 281; called ἠγαθέη, as sacred to Hephaestus (also to the Cabīri) on account of its volcano, Moschylus; now Stalimene [(ς τὴν) Λῆμνον].
