thick, esp. of things densely crowded and in motion.
Hence ‘throbbing’ (κῆρ), ‘swarming’ (μέλισσαι), ‘buzzing’ (μυι<*>῀αι),
‘flurried’ (μῆλα),
‘sobbing’ (γόος),
‘voiceful’ (Σειρῆνες). Adv. with corresponding signification ἁδινόν, ἁδινά, ἁδινώτερον,
‘more dolefully,’ ἁδινῶς
