βρι?θω (root βρι), ipf. βρῖθον, aor. ἔβρι_σα, perf. βέβρι_θα: be heavy, weighed down; σταφυλῇσι μέγα βρι?θουσα ἀλωή, Il. 18.561, and once mid., μήκων καρπῷ βρι_θομένη, Il. 8.307; with gen., ταρσοὶ τυ_ρῶν βρῖθον, Od. 9.219; τράπεζαι σι?του βεβρίθα_σι, etc.; met., ἔρις βεβρι_θυῖα (= βρι_θεῖα), Il. 21.385.—Also fall heavily upon, charge, Il. 12.346, etc.; preponderate, be superior (by giving the most presents), Od. 6.159.
