ἔθω (σϝε<*>θω), part. ἔθων, perf. 2 εἴωθα, ἔωθε: be accustomed, wont; κακὰ πόλλ᾽ ἔρδεσκεν ἔθων, ‘was in the habit of continually working mischief,’ Il. 9.540 ; οὓς παῖδες ἐριδμαίνωσιν ἔθοντες, ‘as is their wont,’ Il. 16.260 ; ὑφ᾽ ἡνιόχῳ εἰωθότι, ‘their accustomed driver, Il. 5.231.
