*Gabrih/lios), prefect of Byzantium, under the emperor Justinian. The Greek Anthology contains an inscription for his statue, by Leontius (Brunck, Anal vol. iii, p. 103 ; Jacobs, Anth. Graec. vol. iv. p. 74), and one epigram by Gabriel himself. (Brunck, Anal. vol. iii. p. 7; Jacobs, Anth. Graec. vol. iii. p. 228.)
