Alci'medon

2. One of the Tyrrhenian sailors, who wanted to carry off the infant Dionysus from Naxos, but was metamorphosed, with his companions, into a dolphin. (Ov. Met. 3.618; Hyg. Fab. 134 ; comp. ACOETES.)
