Ca'ndidus

*Ka/ndidos), a Greek author, who lived about the time of the emperors Commodus and Severus, about A. D. 200, and wrote a work on the Hexameron, which is referred to by Eusebius. (Hist. Eccl. 5.27; comp. Hieronym. De Scriptor. Eccl. 48.)
