Dicaeo'genes
(
Δικαιογένης), a Grecian tragic and dithyrambic poet, of whom nothing is known except a few titles of his dramas. One of these, the
Cypria, is supposed by some to have been not a tragedy, but a cyclic epic poem. (Suid. s.v.
Aristot. Poet. 16, with Ritter's
note, p. 199; Fabric.
Bibl. Graec. ii. p. 295.)
