*Do/lios), an aged slave of Penelope, whom she had received from her father on her martying Odysscus, and who took care of her garden. On the return of Odysseus from his wanderings, Dolius and his six sons welcomed him, and was ready to join his master against the relatives of the suitors. (Hom. Od. 4.735; 24.498.)
