Gutta

1. A native of Capua, one of the commanders of the Italian allies, who came to the relief of the younger Marius in the civil war, B. C. 83. (App. BC 3.90.) SchweighaĆ¼ser thinks he may be the same as the Albinus who perished with Telesinus shortly afterwards, and that consequently his full name was Albinus Gutta. (Schw. ad App. BC 1.93.)
