Ἴδη).

1. A daughter of Melissus and Amaltheia, and sister of Adrasteia, one of the Idaean nymphs, to whom Rhea entrusted the infant Zeus to be educated. (Apollod. 1.1.6.) She was represented, with other nymphs, on the altar of Athena Alea at Tegea. (Paus. 8.47.2.)
