Lentulus

6. L. CORNELIUS TIB. N. LENTULUS CAUDINUS, L. F., son of the last. (Fasti Cap. A. U. 516.) He is the first who is expressly recorded with the agnomen Caudinus: but as the Fasti are mutilated, it may have been assumed by his father. He was curule aedile (Vaillant, Cornelii No. 18, Papirii No. 1); Pontifex Maximus (Liv. 22.10); and as consul in B. C. 237, he triumphed over the Ligurians. (Fasti Cap. ; Eutrop. 3.2.) He died B. C. 213. (Liv. 25.2.)
