1. A daughter of Epaphus and Memphis, from whom Libya (Africa) is said to have derived its name. By Poseidon she is said to have been the mother of Agenor, Belus, and Lelex. (Paus. 1.44.3; Apollod. 2.1.4, 3.1.1.)
