Lydiades

2. A native of Megalopolis, one of the three ambassadors sent by the Achaeans to Rome in B. C. 179, in pursuance of the views of Lycortas. (Plb. 26.1.) It was on this occasion that Callicrates, who was head of the embassy, betrayed the interests of his country to the Romans. [CALLICRATES.]
