2. Grandson of the preceding, and son of Pythagoras and Theano.
According to some accounts he succeeded Aristaeus [ARISTAEUS] as president of the Pythagorean school. (Suid.

According to a notice in Photius (
Phot. Bibl. 259, p. 438b. ed. Bekker), he died young.
