Ny'mphius

an Italian Greek, one of the chief men of Palaepolis, who, together with CharilaĆ¼s, betrayed the town to Q. Publilius Philo, the Roman proconsul, in the second Samnite war (B. C. 323), and drove out the Roman garrison. (Liv. 8.25, 26.)
