Pa'mphylus

*Pa/mfulos), a son of Aegimius and brother of Dymas, was king of the Dorians at the foot of mount Pindus, and along with the Heracleidae invaded Peloponnesus. (Apollod. 2.8.3; Paus. 2.28.3; Pind. P. 1.62.) After him, a tribe of the Sicyonians was called Pamphyli. (Hdt. 5.68.)
