Pareia

*Pa/reia), a surname of Athena, under which she had a statue in Laconia, perhaps so called only from its being made of Parian marble. (Paus. 3.20.8.) Pareia is also the name of a nymph by whom Minos became the father of Eurymedon, Nephalion, Chryses and Philolaus. (Apollod. 3.1.2.)
