Phoenix

Φοῖνιξ), a statuary, of unknown country, was the pupil of Lysippus, and therefore tlourished about Ol. 120, B. C. 300. He made a celebrated statue of the Olympic victor boxing, Epitherses. (Plin. Nat. 34.8. s. 19.20 ; Paus. 6.15.3.)
