Johnson, Josiah Stoddard 1833-

Author: born in New Orleans, Feb. 10, 1833; graduated at Yale College in 1853 and at the University Law School in 1854. He joined the Confederate army in 1863, and served till the close of the war. Later he engaged in the practice of law and in [178] journalism. He is the author of Memorial history of Louisville; First explorations of Kentucky; Confederate history of Kentucky, etc.
