Chesapeake and Delaware bays. They were early made vassals to the Five Nations and their allies by compulsion. In 1710 they left their ancient domain, and occupied lands upon the Susquehanna in Pennsylvania until the Revolutionary War, when they crossed the Alleghany Mountains and joined the British in the West.
