Wishoskan Indians,

A family of Indians that occupied the shores of Humboldt Bay and the Eel, Elk, and Lower Mad rivers, in California, and comprised the Patawat, the Wiyot or Vicard, and the Wishosk tribes. In 1853 they numbered less than 1,500, and now the few remnants are practically lost by merging with other tribes.
