طَنِبَ A ( n. ac. طَنَب 4 ),
a. Was bent, crooked; was ungainly, long-legged, longbacked ( horse ). II, Pitched, erected, put up ( tent ).
b. Shook ( water-skin ).
c. Howled.
d. [ Bi ], Stayed in.
e. [ coll. ], Was proud, insolent; boasted, bragged.

a. Raised the dust ( wind ).
b. Stretched far away, wound ( river ).
c. Marched in single file ( camels ).
d. [ Fī ], Did his utmost in; was profuse in, was prolix in ( his talk ).
