New Market races

--Third Day.--The race at New Market, Thursday, was one of the most interesting of the season. The Messrs. Doswell entered Fanny Washington; Mr. Hare, Delphine, and Mr. Belcher, John L.--The race was contested between Fanny and Delphine. The race was for two-mile heats, for the Proprietor's Purse of $300. Fanny Washington won in two heats, in 3:54½ and 3:53¼. John L. was distanced in the second heat.
