Enforcement of the Law.

--After the rendition of the U. S. Commissioner's decision, at Cleveland, Ohio, last Wednesday afternoon, that the slave girl, Lucy, should be given up to Mr. Goshorn, of Virginia, her alleged owner, the persons present organized a meeting, and, after some debate, passed resolutions declaring that "the U. S. Marshal should proceed the following day to Wheeling, Va., with the girl, accompanied by two deputies only, and that the meeting give unanimous assurance that he should not be molested." When the claimant, Mr. Goshorn, left the Court-room for his hotel, several colored women made a rush at him, but the white people stepped in and hustled the negroes off.
