Treason defined in Florida.

--An act just passed by the Florida Legislature declares, that in the event of any actual collision between the troops of the late Federal Union and those in the employ of the State of Florida, it shall be the duty of the Governor of the State to make public proclamation of the fact, and thereafter the act of holding office under the Federal Government shall be declared treason, and the person convicted shall suffer death. This act was approved by the Governor of the State on the 14th ultimo. We suppose Postmasters will be excepted from the operation of this law.
