Arrival of arms.

--Eleven cases of Enfield rifles arrived at New York in the Kangaroo. More were expected by the Canadian and Persia, but a telegraphic dispatch from St. Johns, Newfoundland, noting her passing Cape Race, adds that ‘"a large amount of war material was tendered as freight for the Persia, but was refused."’
