The Irish citizens of Georgia.

The Atlanta Intelligencer, publishing lately an appeal from Col. O. A. Lochrane, remarked:

‘ The Irishman is noted all the world over for his love of liberty, generous and patriotic ardor, and his high sense of right, justice and honor. Our Irish fellow-citizens all over the South are responding nobly to the call of our Government. We understand that it is the purpose of Col. Lochrane to raise a regiment of Irishmen in Georgia to meet Col. Meagner's Irish Volunteers, who have joined Lincoln for the purpose of killing and subjugating our people.
