The Tobacco Exchange,

in rear of the Columbian Hotel, is nearly completed and will be ready for use in a short time. The tobacco merchants are so well pleased with Its construction that they speak of getting up a magnificent ball in it, about the middle of next month, and inviting the Plantors of Virginia and North Carolina, and their wives and daughters to attend. The place is an excellent one.
