Accidental Shooting.

--A fatal accident occurred on a vessel at the wharf, at Fredericksburg, Va., on Monday, by the careless use of fire-arms. A son of Capt. James Jenkins, (Mason Jenkins,) and another youth named Sullivan, both about 12 or 14 years of age, were playing with an old gun. Jenkins put on a percussion cap — neither knowing it to be loaded — when Sullivan said, raising the gun up, "will you give me leave," and Jenkins responding affirmatively, he fired, when a load of shot entered the side of young Jenkins, who died on Tuesday. Sullivan ran off and has not since been heard from, but young Jenkins acquitted him of all blame, and said they should not trouble him, that they never had a difficulty, and that it was solely accidental.
